PARTY FOR MISS DYER
Mrs. L. Sinclair Thompson gave a particularly delightful five o’clock party at her home, Highland Park, on Friday, in honour of Miss Lulu Dyer, Tlnakorl Road, whose marriage to Mr. A, Mclntosh, Bombay, India, will take place shortly. Mrs. Thompson wore a brown pleated taffeta gown, and blue with hat to tone. The drawingroom, lounge and dining-rooms were bright with masses of flame, pink and gold Iceland popples in tall vases and bowls, and large, blazing fires added to the warmth and cheerfulness. There were 130 guests, and all took the-op-portunity of wishing Miss Dyer every happiness for the future.
