Miss M. Downie Stewart, Dunedin, is visiting Wellington.

Mrs. W. E. Bidwill has returned, to Featherston from a visit to Auckland. Mrs. E. Caradus, Hataitai, who has eben visiting Auckland, has returned home.

Miss Jocelyn Keeling, Cheltenham, is visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Hubert Keeling, Wellington. Mrs. V. H. Waters and Miss Nancy Waters, Wellington, are visiting Auckland.

Mrs. C. G. Macindoe, Remuera, Auckland, is spending a holiday in Wellington.

Mrs. A. B. von Schultz, Wallace Street, has returned to Wellington from a visit to Auckland.

Mrs. Eric Dumbleton, Takapuna, Auckland, is visiting Wellington, and is staying with her mother, Mrs. W. H Morton, Kelburn.

Miss Mary Paterson, Wadestown, who has been the guest of Miss Marjorie Mappin, Auckland, will return to Wellington to-day. Mr. and Mrs. Mason Durie, Aorangi, motored to Wellington at the week-end for the consecration of the new Bishop of the Wellington Diocese, Bishop Holland.

Sirs. Dean, Christchurch, has arrived in Wellington for the Macintosh—Dyer wedding and is staying with Mrs. Frank Hay, Hill Street.

Mr. and Mrs. George Wensley and their daughter, who have been the guests of Mrs. James Benning, Overtoun Terrace, Hataitai, have returned to their home in Blenheim.

Mr. and Mrs. 0. O’Donnell, Christchurch, who are at present touring the North Island, will leave Wellington on August 1 by the Wanganella for Sydney and Melbourne. They 'expect tb be away three months.
