London, July 24. The total amount applied for in tenders for £50,000,000 Treasury Bills was £72,970,000. The average rate per cent, fqr bills at 3 months was 10/6.11d., against 11/7.573. a week ago. Oamaru Woollen CompanyShareholders in the old Oariiaru Woollen Factory Company; Ltd. (which was purchased by another company) have been informed that a further distribution of 2/- per share has been made to them. The return of capital of the old company was at 13/6 per share, and in May last, the market value of the £1 shares was between 8/- and 9/-. The return now totals 15/6- per share.

Gold Mining Returns The Worksop Extended Gold Dredging Co., Dtd., give the following official return for the week ending July 23: — Yield, 30 ounces; yardage treated, 9000; hours dredged, 126. The Maori Gully return was 390 z. 3dwt. for 130 hours. Greymouth, July 26. The Mossy Creek dredge return was 570 z. Idwt. from 12,487 yards of material in 125 hours. Gore, July 25.
