Stephens: “Ether” states that the best reception at present, is obtained •from transmission one, especially on the longer wavelength of the two. Transmission two may be received infrequently at this time of year. The running commentary is on transmission two, but news of the play would be obtainable in transmission one in the afternoon. The times are given every day in “The Dominion" for this transmission. Even the best and most consistent shortwave stations have their off moments, and one can never guarantee anything.
