Several evenings have been held oy the social committee of the Brooklyn Auxiliary of the Wellington Returned Soldiers’ Association during Jhe week. On Tuesday the euchre party was well attended, prizes being won by Mrs. McGinnity and Mr. Appleton. Messrs. J. Cunningham and Gardiner and Mrs. R. Holmes received the drawn number prizes. On Thursday evening the bridge tables were fully occupied and some good score cards were returned. The fortnightly dance completed the week’s activities. Novelty dances were greatly appreciated, the winners of the monte carlo being Mrs. D. Mong and Mr. J. Hood. Among those present were: Mr. and Mrs. W. Makin, Mr. and Mrs. Robinson, Mr. and Mrs. Hubbard, Mr. and Mrs. W. Warchain, Mr. and Mrs. A. Troughton, Mesdames Mouton,
Moug, Willis, Morrison, Smith. Teirney, Johnston, Barker. Tuney, Misses I’arkinsin, Stewart, Caskie, McKay, and Wrighton. Messrs. Reid, Harris, Muir, Burbage, Davison, Staples, Campbell, Williscroft and G. Buckley.
