Those two units of New Zealand’s defences that, one by land and the other by sea, bear the name of the capital city, the Wellington Regiment and H.M.S. 'Wellington, are to co-oper-ate happily over the Labour Day weekend. According to an announcement made at a parade of the First Battalion last night, two officers and 12 men of the regiment have been invited to make a 48-hour cruise to the Sounds on board the warship. The party will be selected on a competitive basis.
