On September 5 the dancer, La Meri, now appearing in New Zealand will open a fortnight’s season. The musical comedy company now in Cairns, Queensland, will open in “Yes, Madam” after La Meri. Miss Ethel Morrison will join this company. On November 1, the Gilbert and Sullivan company will appear in brief revivals of the Savoy operas, with the added attractions of “Paul Jones” and “Merrie England,” and probably “Lilac Time.” Dates for New Zealand tours do not appear to have been decided upon yet.
