Abuses of Sustenance
Sir—l wonder if the writer of the letter “Abuses of Sustenance” is aware that all strong-looking men are not strapping loafers? I am strong-looking, but not a strapping loafer. I am on sustenance, but not through any fault of my own. 1 am quite willing to work if I had a chance to do so, and would pay my Bd. tax without grumbling about who I am helping to keep. , „ I am fed up with sustenance, and the sooner the Minister of Public Works starts placing the unemployed on public works the better we on sustenance would would like it. —I am, etc., NOT A STRAPPING LOAFER.
