A SLAM-BANG WRESTLER
Danny Dusek For New Zealand '
Danny Dusek, one of the most colourful wrestlers in America, sailed from Vancouver on the Aorangi on Saturday under, engagement to the Dominion of New Zealand Wrestling Union. This news was received by cable yesterday by Mr. Walter Miller, team manager for the union, who had been trying hard for some months to sign up Danny Dusek. For some years he has been one of the best drawing cards in America, owing to his “slam-bang” methods in the ring. One never knows how Dusek is going to attack his opponent, and his audiences are kept in suspense by his bustling and nn* orthodox methods.
One of four noted brothers, who are all in the forefront of wrestling in the States, Dusek weighs just over 16st.. and is over 6ft. in height. He should prove a tougii nut for Earl McCready and Lofty Blomfield.
