Miss Olive D’Ath, Lower Hutt, who has been visiting friends in the Hawke’s Bay and Manawatu districts, has returned to Wellington. Mrs. C. Macindoe, Remuerd, Auckland, will arrive at Wellington to-day and will be the guest of Mrs. W. Higgins.

Mrs. A. Wall returned,to Wellington yesterday after a visit to her mother, Mrs. A. E. Alison, Devonport, Auckland.

Mrs. J. G. Coates has arrived at Wellington from Dargaville, and is staying at her flat at St, Elmo, Hill Street.

: Mrs. Rose V. Hume, Featherston, is the guest of Dr. and Mrs. Rolland O’Regan, Boulcott Street, for a few days. Miss Maude Fitz-Herbert, Taranaki, arrived at Wellington yesterday morning from Christchurch, and will spend several weeks here before returning north.

Miss Barbara Pierce and Miss Ray Thomson, Auckland, who have been spending three months’ holiday in tho South Island, will leave Christchurch to-night for Wellington, and will motor to Auckland.

Mrs. J. Pow, Kensington Street, who has been in Gore for the past four months, has returned to her home, accompanied by her brother, Mr. E. A. Pigeon, who ■will spend some months In Wellington.

Canon and Mrs. W. S. Bean will Be .visitors to Wellington for the marriage of their niece, Miss Lulu Dyer, which will take place on July 29. Mrs. Douglas Maefarlane, Rafa Downs, North Canterbury, a cousin of Miss Dyer, will also come to Wellington for the wedding.
