BRIDGE EVENING
Tin Hat Club Gathering A well-attended bridge evening was held last night under the auspices of the Tin Hat Club of the Wellington Returned Soldiers’ Association. There were about 130 players in all. Supper was provided by the women’s committee. Tables were arranged by Mesdames Harris, Miles, Turnbull, Knight, Lawson, Pearson. Metcalf, Sullivan, Stevens, L. Hill, H. E. Avery, J. Spence, A. Buckmaster, J. McKay, J. G. Wingate, J. Turnbull, E. Lawson, A. Mildenhall, A. J. Nimmo, A. B. Burd, Baird, Bell, Booker, R. Brooking, Nilson, H. R. Baigent, and H. R. Biss. Prize-winners were Mrs. J. Turnbull, Mrs. Ullmer, Miss Boyce, Mr. V. Knight, Mr. Bell, and Mr. Pinkney.
