COOK STRAIT SERVICE
One Flight Cancelled Yesterday One Cook Strait air service trip had to be cancelled yesterday because of the wind and the rain. As it was the connecting flight of Union Airways, Ltd., and Cook Strait Airways at Blenheim, malls and passengers for Wellington had to be taken on by air to Palmerston North. Although the wind was still hign the afternoon flight from Blenheim to Wellington and from Wellington to Nelson via Blenheim were made. The pilots yesterday were Flying Officer A. T. Orchard and Flying Officer R. A. Kirktip.
