SUSPENSION OF POLO PLAYER
Captain of English Team London, July 21. The "Suu-Herald” news agency reports that the Hurlingham committee has suspended E. Tyrrell-Martin, England’s polo captain, from the Champion Cup tournament “for conduct therein prejudicial to the game.” Tyrrell-Martin was found guilty of striking H II Hughes an opponent, during a cup semi-final. The game was very keen and Tyrrell-Martin was observed swinging his stick to hit Hughes. The incident was regarded as closed when the players shook hands.
