Victims of Sawmill and Coal-mine Accidents

Greymoutli, June 22.
Engaged at the loading bank at Nelson Creek sawmill at noon to-day, Charles Chandler, 30 years of age, a bushman, was crushed between two logs. His skull was fractured and be was removed to the Grey Hospital. Ills condition is serious.
At the Liverpool Mine to-day a fall of coal resulted, and James Doherty, a miner, 57 years of age, married, of Runanga, was admitted to Grey Hospital with a fractured spine and jaw. His condition is serious.
