WRESTLING ON TUESDAY
Forsgren-Blomfield Return
Contest
Wellington wrestling enthusiasts have an outstanding attraction provided for their enioyment on the King’s Birthday,, Jack Forsgren and “Lofty” Blomiield being booked for a return engagement at the Town Hall to-morrow night. No better match could be wanted, as both men wrestle along lines calculated to supply unlimited thrills. As both are big and powerful, they meet on even terms, the issue lying in speed, skill and ability to take full advantage of any opportunities that present themselves. Within the limits of the rules they will allow their aggressive natures full play as they attempt to wear each other down. Their previous contest in Wellington was as thrilling as the most exacting critic could wish to see, while the finish came with such unexpectedness that the match was won by Blomiield just when the majority of the audience thought that Forsgren, who bad scored with one of his deadly boston crabs, was about to clinch it in his favour. No one was more surprised by the result than Forsgren himself, who feels that he is a better wrestler than the New Zealander, and is determined to prove it. There will be amateur preliminaries.
