South Island Championship
By Telegraph—Press Association. Invercargill, June 21. The South Island championship dog trials concluded at Mossburn yesterday, when the huntaway event was held in good conditions. Results are as follow: — M. A. Matheson’s entry (Middlemarch), 171: Jan Anderson’s (Kurow), 165 i; J. Waddell’s (Waikaka Valley), 1501; R. Anderson’s (Kauana), 159; D. McGimptsey’s (Kurow), loSJ; John Andersons (Kurow), 1581. The heading, pull, and yarding event, completed on Friday, resulted as follows: —ll. M. Wilson’s (Kirwee) Fly, 163 points, 1; lan Anderson’s (Kurow) Glen, 161, 2; John Anderson’s (Kurow) Toby Junior, 159, 3; W. E. Stiven’s (Heriot) Skookum, 158, 4; F.
