DUNEDIN COMPETITIONS
The Dunedin Competitions Society’s thirty-fifth annual festival will be held in Dupedin from August 19 to September 5. This will be the most important festival yet held by the society, as besides the usual syllabus the following additional items are included this year-Choral contest, prizes £l4O • opera aria, priz— £80; chief piano contest, prizes £lB/13/ ; and a miniature grand piano valued at £1(X) elocution champion of champions cont'st prizes £l5/15/-; ballets, prizes £2s' national ballet, prizes £lO/10/-.
