Amer—Jonson The wedding was solemnised recently at St John the Baptist's I ht:r<h. Hunterville, of Gwendoline Mary voimgesr daughter of Mrs. M J Jonson. Hunterville. and Hector D. Amer, also ot Hiinterville. The bride, who entered Hie church with her brother Alex, was wearing :i beautiful frock of creme carri. kmaeross lace cut on classical lines wirh a cowl neck and slight train, the raglan sleeves being tight fitting and finishing, in a point over the wrist. Iler embroidered tulle ve'i fell from a coronet of orangblossom and formed a scerrnd train She carried a sheaf of arum lilies. Attending the bride was Iter sister Mavis, who wore a frock of pink silver tame crepe, finished with a silver girdle, and carried a dainty muff of tulle finished with a spray of flowers She also wore a silver halo Mr. Colin Anior wnq best mnr»
At the reception which followed the ceremony, the guests were received by the bride’s mother, assisted by th” bridegroom’s mother. The former was wearing a black and white frock, black coat and peach bloom hat. and carried a posy of autumn tinted flowers Tinlatter was m a brown ensemble, with matching posy.
When Mr. and Mrs. 11. D. Amer left by car for the north, the bride wore a smart brown frock trimmed with gold braid and a brown halo hat with accessories to tone.
