LYCEUM CLUB JUNIOR CIRCLE
A large and enthusiastic audience thoroughly enjoyed a programme of music, song and rhyme presented recently by the Junior Circle of the Lyceum Club, the hostess for the evening being Mrs. K. Connor. As usual the charming lounge was bright and inviting with artistic iloral decorations and cheery tires. The programme commenced with “The Bazaar,” an unusual monologue playlet in colourful costumes, arranged by Miss Florence George. The members taking part were: Mesdames Connor and Mushet, and the Misses George, Bull, Fuller Boyd, Mulford, McLuskie and Doyle. There followed a musical competition, won by Mrs. G. G. MeQuarrie, and a musical programme was presented, including songs by Mrs. K. Connor, Mr. and Mrs. H. Dunn, Mr. East, and Mr. B. Hickford; recitations by the Misses M. Mulford and J. Doyle; and pianoforte dflcts by Misses S. Macindoe and Doyle. The accompanists for the evening were Misses Macindoe and Doyle. A speech by the hostess and the serving of supper concluded the evening's entertainment.
