YEAR OF DIFFICULTIES
Dairy Factory Managers’ Association By Telegraph—Press Association. Palmerston North. June 18. The annual meeting of the Now Zea .and Danr-y Factory Managers’ Association was held at the National Show to day. The report staled that the year had bristled with difficulties for those whose constant concern was the quality of the manufactured article. The chairman, Mr. I'. C. 11. Petersan (■Cambridge) said Micro would be a change in the manner of marketing the Dominion’s produce, but it was the job of managers to make the highest quality product possible. He was sure they would continue with that aim. The following were elected to t'hree vacancies on the executive Messrs. W. Taylor (Stratford). W. Hollis (Hlnuera) and J. J. Henry (Dunedin). The principal subject for discussion was a motion that graders, should not know whose butler they were grading.
Several members referred to the difficulties of carrying such a principle into operat'ion. ami the motion was defeated by a large majority.
