NEGOTIATIONS AT END
Southland Power Board and
Government
By Telegraph—Press Association. Invercargill, June 18.
The Southland Electric Power Board at a meeting to-night passed a motion rescinding a resolution passed in March in favour of a referendum of ratepayers on the question of handing over the board’s scheme to the Government. This means that the negotiations as far as the board is concerned for the handing over of the scheme are at an end.
