A GIFT TEA
The members of the Ohariu Valley Women’s Institute recently gathered at the Ohariu Hall for a gift tea given in honour of Miss Patti Nossiter, who is shortly to be married. Ou their arrival the guest of honour and her mother were presented with beautiful bouquets. During the afternoon Mrs. P. M. Jackson sang, and a dainty afternoon tea was served. The opening by Miss Nossiter of the many parcels revealed some very pretty and useful presents, and the institute presented her with an electric jug. Miss Nossiter thanked all present, and a very pleasant afternoon closed with the singing of “Auld Lang Syne.”
