Mr. and Mrs. W. Barron, Havelock North, were passengers from 'Wellington for the south last night. Mr. and Mrs. Austin Cook, Kelburn, and Miss Kathleen Cook have returned to Wellington from a visit to Australia. Mrs. Athol Millward, Wellington, is visiting her mother. Mrs. John MaeGibbon. and will remain iu Christchurch until the end of the month. Miss Evelyn Goldsmith, Brooklyn, who has been visiting Dunedin, Christchurch and Hamner, has Returned to Wellington.

Mrs Tudor Boddam, London, has left Wellington to spend a few weeks with her brother, Mr. John Fuller, prior to leaving for England. Miss Muriel Stewart, Christchurch, who has been spending a holiday with her aunt, Mrs. J. TV. Stewart, Severn Street. Island Bay, returned to Christchurch by aeroplane on Monday. The Bishop of Melanesia, the lit. Rev. 11. W. Baddeley, and Mrs. Baddeley are in Christchurch as the guests of Bishop West-Watson, at Blshopscourt, until to-night, when they will leave for Wellington.
