FIVE O’CLOCK PARTY
Mrs J H. Hall, Christchurch, who Is the guest of Mrs. R. C. Addisou, Upland Road, Kelburn, gave a very pleasant little fi ve o'clock party for another southern visitor. Miss Peggy Ac-ton-Adams. at the Midland Hotel yesterday. Miss Acton-Adams, who has been visiting at Heretaunga. will leave to-night for her home at Tipapa, North Canterbury. She wore an almond green ensemble, and Mrs. Hall was in navy blue tweeds, with a broadtail coat and navy velour hat. Those present included: Mr. and Mrs. Charles Miles. Mrs. Beetham. ?’i<ses Hilda Miles, Helen Whyte, Alison Addison, Georgette Handyside. Messrs. John Roberts. Nesbit Sellars. Andrew McLean, Robert Carney (Christchurch), and Tuvey.
