CENTRAL CROQUET CLUB
The annua] meeting of the Central Croquet Club was held recently. The club was stated to bo in a sound financial position. The following ofltrers were elected : — Patron. Dr. Harding, sou.; president, Mrs. Fox (re-elected) ; vice-presidents, Mesdames Brockclbank, Firth, Monks, nn,l Kirk: secretary aud treasurer, Mrs. Pawsou (re-elected); captain. Mrs. Ridley (re-elected) ; auditor, Mr. W. P. Watliinson : committee, Mesdames Annear, Bell, Brockelbank. Wilsou, L. Pointon, Sharpe, Bryan, Watkinson; match committee. Mesdames Annear, Bell, Fox-, Ridley, Pawson; delegates to association, Mesdames Ridley and Pawson. Mrs. Elvines. a foundation member, was unanimously elected a life member.
