Sydney, June 8.
Remarkable escapes from death or serious injury were experienced by the pilot, Kenneth Horn, and a passenger, Herbert Morris, when an aeroplane crashed and burst into flames while attempting to land in a paddock near Singleton. The machine was the famous Red Rose, in which Mrs. Miller and Captain Lancaster flew to Australia. Horn and Morris leaped from the aeroplane as it struck the ground. The machine was burned to ashes.
