Australian Davis Cup Players (Received Slay 28, 10.15 p.m.) Philadelphia, May 27. Viscount Richards, the American tennis coach, to-day practised with the Australians. He teamed with McGrath against Crawford and Quist. Play was sharp all round and observers expressed the opinion that the Australian pair would be dangerous against any doubles combination in international tennis. Both the American and Australian teams used the centre courts at tlie Germantown Cricket Club, where the cup matches will be played. PERRY AND AUSTIN WIN Paris, May 27. In the French tennis championships In the fourth round of the men’s singles T. J. Perry defeated Martin Legeay, 63, 6-0, 6-3; H. W. Austin defeated Feret, 3-6, 6-2, 7-5. 1-6. 6-2.
