For Presidency (Received Ma 28, 10.15 p.m.) New York, May 27. The Washington correspondent of the “New York Times” learns that Dr. Townsend, founder of the old age pensions plan, recently called upon Senator Borah and proposed the formation of a third party with the senator as its nominee for President. He assured Senator Borah of the support of old age pension plan adherents as well as some members of the late Senator Huey P. Long’s “Share Our Wealth” scheme. It is not believed however, that Senator Borah, who is an aspirant for the Republican Pros! dential nomination, will form an alliance with these Toups.
