FAREWELL TEA PARTY
A pleasant party took place at Wellington yesterday afternoon in the private iounge of the Grand Hotel, when the lady members of the Wellington Symphony Orchestra gave an afternoon tea to say farewell to .Misses Eudora and Frances Henry, who will leave for an extended trip abroad via Sydney on .lune 12. .Madame de Manny acted as hostess, and a delightful tea was served. A presentation was made to the guests of honour on behalf of the orchestra, and the happy gathering concluded with musical honours. Those present, besides the guests of honour, were Madame de Manny, Mesdames I'rouse, Robertson, McKenzie, Milligan, Fenton, Fahey, Holloway, Meaohen and Meier; Misses Anderson, Johnson, Rernasconi, Pilcher, Inkersill, Hytim, Powell. Anyon, Skippage, Gordon and Goodson.
If paper eases for small cakes are slightly warmed before putting in the mixture, the cakes will not stick when baked.
