.Airs. J. A. Fitzgerald, Apu Crescent, Lyall Bay, is visiting Dannevirke. Mrs. 11. W. Piper, Thompson Street, returned from the south yesterday. The Misses Bertha and Jessie Forbes will leave Wellington to-night for their home at Cheviot. Mrs. F. Tindall has returned to 'Wellington after a short visit to Dannevirke. Miss Bona Drake, Cambridge, Waikato, is visiting 'Wellington and is staying at “Kenilworth,” Hill Street. Miss Suzanne Bothamley is staying with Miss Ngaire Aplin, “Handsworth,” The Terrace. Mrs. James Cow, Blenheim, and her children are the guests of Dr. Maysie Gow, Seatoun.
Mrs. S. I. Kidd, Khandallah, is the guest of her sister, .Mrs. Douglas HallCrease, Gisborne. Miss Doris Bray, secretary of the ■Wellington Racing Club, left 'Welling ton last night for the north. Mrs. Frank Dyer and Miss Lulu Dyer, Tinakorl Road, are visiting Rotorua and are staying at the Grand Hotel.
Mr. and Mrs. Byron Mills have taken Mr. and Mrs. 11. G. Miller’s house at Wadestown during Mrs. Miller's absence in America.
Mrs. J. Gamble and Mrs. Macken, Wellington, who have been visiting Auckland, have left by car on their return south.
Mrs. J. M. Drewette, who has been staying with her sister, Mrs. Horace Elliott, Auckland, has returned to Wellington. Mrs. Arthur Rose, St. Elmo Courts, Christchurch, has returned from a visit to her daughter, Mrs. Philip Levy, Karori.
Mr. G. A. Bucklin, Consul-General for America, accompanied by Mrs. Bucklin and their son and daughter, will be visiting Chateau Tongariro at the week-end.
Mrs. Hermann Browne, who has been the guest of Mrs. Rathbone, Wanganui, is now visiting Wellington and is staying with Lieutenant and Mrs. Willoughby before returning to Blenheim.
