CHAIRMAN’S DILEMMA
Ngaio School Committee Election Although he was elected to the committee of Ngaio School at a meeting of householders on May 4, and was later elected chairman, Mr. F. G. Molesworth will have to relinquish both positions, as he has. not lived in the district tor the required three months. The secretary of the "Wellington Education Board, Mr. E. S. Hylton, said yesterday it was the only case of its kind ho had known during his long experience. At the meeting of householders there were ten nominees for the nine vacancies. .Mr. Molesworth, who wa.s one of the nominees, had lived in the district for less than the required three months, and his,, children were not enrolled at the school until the day after the nominations closed. This fact had rendered .Mr. Molesworth's nomination null and void, and the vacancy on the committee caused by his retirement would automatically be tilled by Mr. E. Turksma, who wa.s the tenth nominee.
