FARMERS’ TRADING CO.. LTD. Net Profit Higher by 50 Per Cent. Dominion Special Service. Auckland, May 28. An increase of about 50 per cent, in the net earnings and a further expansion in file gross profit are features of the necottins of file ['armors’ Trading Co.. Ltd., for the year ended Marell 31. Net profits are £(>l,-458. against £41,277 earned in the previous year, and gross earnings are £-18.2-10 higher at £202.508, The not profit figure is the highest since 1920. The ordinary dividend for the year is the same nf 5 per cent, [’reference dividends of 7 per cent., low the statutory deduction of 20 per conf., are also payable. The company has announced the consolidation of its shares into denominations of £1 with bonus benefits Io holders.
