Increase in Ordinary Dividend The Australian Glass Maiiiil:i<lurcw Co.. Ltd., yesterday advised tlie Stock Exchange Association that the diro'-tur* have recommended a dividend of 4J per cent. OH Ilin preference shares in respect of the h-'ilf-yetir ended March 31 last an-'l of 5 per cent, on the ordinary share*, pins a further 5 per cent, on the ordinary shares, which latter is paid out of income derived from the company’s investments. The dividends are payable on June 24. Transfer books will bo closed from June 10 to 24. both Inyo inclusive.
The distribution on the ordinary shares for the financial year ended March ;;1 Inst makes with the interim dividend paid last November p total of 15 per cent-.. compared with 13 per cent, for the previous year and I) per cent, in 1933 and 1931.
