PLAYS AND SONGS
Lyceum Club Evening Last evening at the Wellington Lyceum Club the Drama Circle presented to an appreciative audience dramatic readings, arranged by Miss Hardinge-Alallby. and songs from Shakespeare. Scenes wore given from \et HI of “Cymbeline,” from Act I of ’’Richard HL” and from Acts II and TH of “Much Ado About Nothin"” Those who took part were Mrs. g 7 Berry Airs. A. D. Kerr, Mrs. J. Thompson, Mrs. G. Lyon, Aliss Al. E, P. Ahern. Aliss Hardinge-Alaltby and Miss Gwen Harrison. The Shakespearean songs by Mr. Erie Rishworth and Mrs. David Herbert were warmly applauded, as also were the delightful Old English songs given by Miss Doris Black. The aecompanistes were Mrs. Brown, Misses W. Cooley and J. Doyle. The serving of supper concluded an enjoyable evening.
