Kcedwell—Graham The wedding was solemnised lust Thursday at St>. Peter’s Anglican Church, Pahiatua, of Ngaire, younger daughter of Mrs. I. M. Graham and the late Captain John Graham, and Laurence Davis, youngest son of Mr. and Airs. S. Kcedwell, Carterton. The ceremony, which was choral, was conducted by the Rev. Herbert Wilson, the organist being Airs. J. D. C. Crewe. The bride, who entered the beaut.i-fullv-decorated church with iter brother. Air. J. Graham. Taihape, wore a simple gown of brussels lace with a long train finished with appiiqued satin "flowers ami full bishop sleeves gathered at the wrist with tiny white flowers. Her embroidered tulle veil, rucked at the nape of the neck and caught at. the side of (be head with orange blossom, formed a second train She carried a bouquet of white chrysanthemums and maidenhair fern. The bridesmaids were Miss Grace Austin, Gisborne, and Miss Nolti Arrow. Hopelands. Both were dressed in gloucester green french velvet frocks cut on slini-titting lines and falling into slight trains, rucked at the shoulders and neck lines, with gold lame lined sleeves and gold cord girdles. They wore headbands to tone. The flower girl, Rewa Graham, a niece of the bride, was dressed similarly to the bridesmaids. The best man was W. Cummings, Carterton, and the groomsman, Mr. F. Bush, Te Awamutu. A reception was later held at. the Masonic Hall, about .100 guests being received by Airs. Graham, who wore a pink-striped navy blue costume. Airs. Keedwell was in a floral and navy blue ensemble.

The bride travelled in a donegal tweed suit' with halo hat and shoes to tone. Air. and Airs. Keedwell. who are tennis representatives of Wairarapa and Manawatn respectively, will make their home at Carterton.

McLeavey—Wilson

St. David’s Presbyterian Church, I’etone, was the scene of the wedding recently of Vera, only daughter of Airs. Wilson, I’etone, and the late Air. Wilson, and Bernard, second son of Mr. and Airs. A. AleLeavey, Te Horo, formerly of Obau. The service was conducted by the Rev. J. C. Loan, and Air. W. F. Rennie played the wedding music.

The bride, escorted by her brother, Air, Kenneth Wilson, Lower Hutt, wore a gown of cream satin, shirred from the knees and forming a train. The beautifully-embroidered veil of brussels net fell In soft, folds and formed a second train. A shower bouquet of white carnations, sweet peas and dahlias was carried. On leaving the church the bride was presented with a lucky horseshoe by Airs. Alartin The only bridesmaid, Aliss Edan Alartin. Lower Hutt', wore a frock of pale blue floral georgette ami a lace straw hat, and carried a bouquet of autumn flowers.

Air. James Alclvcavey, Te Horo. brother of the bridegroom, was best man.

After the ceremony a reception was hold at “The Willows,” Lower Hutt, Airs, Alexted, aiinti of the bride, wearing a brown ensemble receiving the guests. Airs. Wilson wore a frock of black inarletto, and Airs. AleLeavey, mother of (he bridegroom, wore a wine ensemble.

When the bride and bridegroom left by car for a tour of the north, Airs AleLeavey wore a navy ensemble with navy shoes, gloves and hat to match.
