Mrs. C. Sander is a Wellington visitor to Auckland. Miss Dorothy Bulkley, Wellington, is spending a few days at Waikanae. Miss Elizabeth Alpers, Christchurch, will leave Wellington to-day by the Rotorua for England.

Miss van Staveren, Tinakori Road, is the guest of Mrs. Ronald Isaacs, Epsom, Auckland. Miss Sinclair Breen, Wellington, is spending a few days with friends in the Wai rar a pa. Mrs. J. Victor Macky, Auckland, has returned home after visiting Wellington.

Dr. Agues Bennett will leave by the Wanganella from Auckland to-morrow for Sydney. Mrs. J. T. Coote and Miss Peggy Coote. Auckland, have been visiting Wellington. Mrs. Andrews and the Misses Steele, of Gisborne, who have spent a few days in Wellington, left yesterday by motor for their home.

Aliss Davidson, who will leave by the Tamaroa next Alonday to vls’t England, was the guest of honour at a cheery little tea party which Aliss Joyce Brown gave for her and some of her friends at the D.I.C. yesterday afternoon, A flat basket of gold marigolds gave the table a bright appearance. Miss Brown’s guests were the Alisses Chote, Scholefield, Alary Wilson, Eitch. Bothamley, AlcFarlane and Noeleen Wilson.
