Donald, Petone, and Miss Sievers, Levin, left Wellington by the Monowai for a visit to the Old Count.y. They will connect at Sydney with the Ormonde, and travel via Suez. Madame A. L. Trewman, London, who is visiting her sister, Mrs. Macdonald Wilson, will leave New Zealand by the Marnganui on Maj’ 2G for Sydney.

Miss Barbara Kebbell will arrive at Wellington to-day after spending several weeks visiting friends In Canterbury. She will leave for the Wairarapa to-morrow. Mr. and Mrs. A. Wells, and Mis. M. Ainsworth, London, who have been the guests of Mrs. V. Gibson, of Princes Court Flats, Auckland, for the last six months, will return to London via Wellington, sailing by the Rotorua on Tburs day. Miss M. Miller and Miss M. Powell, both of whom will shortly be married, were presented with souvenir gifts from the Tutaenui branch of the Women’s Division of the Farmers’ Union, of which they are members. Miss Miller was presented with a handsome silver cake dish and Miss Powell was the recipient of a table full of surprise packets. Mrs. G. G. Oliver, speaking on behalf of the branch, made the presentations, and handed each a handsome bouquet.
