It is therefore expected that the market will now improve. The Department of Agriculture has received the following cablegram, dated May Hi, from the High Comnih-vioner for New Zealand. London Fruit: Australia Star and Itangitata shipments discharged in good condition. Apples: Market overstocked; prices weakening. Coiniee, 12/to 14/-; Winter Nelis, 10/- to 11/-; Wintei Cole. 9/- to 10/6: I'.- Barry, Conference. Beurre Bose and Packham's Triumph. 8/6 to 9/7; Keiffer and Twyford Monarch. 8/- to 9/-: Duchess, Beurre Clairgeau and Beurre Diet, 8/6; Vicar of Winkfield. 8/-.
