Melbourne, May 17
Norman Keith Field, aged 20, when having his first solo flight, was burned to death when his plane touched the chimney of a house at. Glen Waverly. 10 mile’s from Melbourne, crashed, and burst into flames. Field had just completed circling over his home when the crash occurred
