The directors of New Zealand Woolpack and Textiles Ltd. intend at an early date reconi mending to shareholders tha accumulated lottos be provided for by the writing off of capital. The directors, while deeply grateful for the asmetnnee afforded the company by the Government, mid while they have every confidence of the ultimate success and firm establishment of flax weaving tn New Zealand. point out that ’’there m no possibility whatever of the company making a profit this year, even on the capital invest inent remaining after the recotnmem - ed writing down has been effected. Ihe company has a capital of £l()a,000. lhe shares, which are £1 paid, are priced at about 12/6.
