MONDAY’S WRESTLING
0 McCready v. Forsgren For British Empire Title Wrestling of a standard seldom seen in New Zealand should be provided at the Wellington Town Hall on Monday night when Jack Forsgren’s challenge to. McCready for the Empire professional heavyweight title will be decided. Both have shown that tlfby are in world class, McCready, for instance, having defeated four former holders of the world’s championship, and their displays are marked by science and strength. During the past week they have been training steadily, McCready in Auckland and Forsgren in Wellington. Forsgren has been out each morning doing road work, and for several hours daily he has been busy in the gymnasium. His match at Masterton during the week gave him some useful practice.' and it is certain that McCready will need to be in his best form if he is to retain the title. In size and strength the ehamp’on and the challenger are very evenly matched, and both are shrewd campaigners. The match has captured the imagination of enthusiasts over a wide area, and applications for seats have poured into the booking office throughout the week. Very little accommodation is still available. A particularly interesting series of amateur preliminaries has been arranged.
