Dominion Award Sought The Conciliation Commissioner, Mr. S. Ritchie, was engaged in the Conciliation Council yesterday in hearing a dispute between the employers of stonemasons and their employees relative to an application for a new Dominion award. The assessors were:—-for tlle employers: Messrs. W. H. Winson (C^ rls tchurch), J. Tait (Christchurch), H. S. Bingham (Dunedin), A. Fletcher (Wei lington), H. Glover (Wellington), T. McNab (Auckland), and W. Parkinson (Auckland). Mr. T. O. Bishop conducted the employers’ case. For the cm ployees: Messrs. J. Dunlop (Anckmnd), W. Vennall (Auckland), J. R- Lund (Petone), C. Nicholls (Wellington), TGraham (Dunedin), A. Bere (Christemployees’ proposals, and the employers’ counter-proposals were as toilow, the counter-proposals being >n parer.-
