Information as to whether it was the intention of the Government to republish the list of individual sheepowners of New Zealand, together with the number of their flocks, was sought by Mr. C. H. Chapman (Government, 'Wellington North), in notice of a question to the Minister of Agriculture, Hon. W. l.ffl Martin, in the House of Representatives yesterday. Mr. Chapman explained that this publication went out of print during the depression years. “It is valuable for commercial purposes.” he said, “for it discloses where the wealth of the country is largely held as a result of the comparatively high prices ruling for pastoral produce.”
