Bclesky—Lane At the Sacred Heart Church, Petone, on Easter Monday evening, Patricia, third daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. R. Lane was married to Albert Ambrose Belesky, only son of Mr. and Mrs. Belesky, Linton, and grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Milne, Taierl, Otago. The Rev. Father O’Donnell officiated. The bride, who was escorted by her brother, wore a gown of magnolia satin and lace-cut on classical lines, with cowl neckline and suit sleeves outlined with pearls. The skirt was cut to form t< long train, and the hand-embroidered veil was held in place by a pearl halo finished with orange blossom. She carried a sheaf of white gladioli arid camellias. The bridesmaid, Miss Josephine Mooney, wore a frock of pink lace and bulle and a picture hat of pink. She carried a sheaf of pink gladioli. The bride was also attended by her two little'sisters,-Dorothy and Clare Lane, as flower-girls. They were dressed alike in Victorian frocks of pink georgette and dresden caps of pink, and they carried baskets of shaded asters. Mr. William Lightfoot, of Upper Hutt, acted as best man. At the reception, Mrs. A. R. Lane teceived the guests wearing a smart ensemble of sailor blue with hat to tone, and carried a Victorian posy of everlasting flowers. Stevens, Feiiding, aud Douglas Stewart Thompson, formerly of Wanganui. Archdeacon Petrie officiated and Mr. Golding was at the organ. The bride wore a gown of silk pique made with very full pin-tucked raglan sleeves, a cowl neck and long skirt with a full train. Her embroidered veil was caught to the head with a coronet of orange blossom. She carried a beautiful shower bouquet of pluk belladonna lilies, rosebuds and maidenhair fern. Miss Etlna Nicholson, Taihaite, and Miss Jessie Fowler, Feiiding, were bridesmaids. The former wore a pale blue cloque gown threaded with silver. The bodice was niched across the front and the long skirt was slightly trained. She wore a wreath of flowers on her head and carried a bouquet of rosebuds and hydrangeas. Miss Fowler wore a gown of Margaret Rose maroeain made with a cowl neck slit to the waist at the back and finished with buttons and loops. The fitting skirt was flared from the knees and fell to form a train. She wore a wreath of pink 'flowers and carried a -bouquet of rosebuds and fern.Mr. Jack Kitchen, cousin of the bridegroom, was best man and Mr. Cecil Stevens, brother of the bride, was groomsman. A reception was held later, Mrs. Stevens receiving her guests in a black, lace gown and small black hat. She carried a bouquet of red roses. Mrs. Bourne. Marton, grandmother of the bride, wore a navy costume with navy hat, and carried a posy of salvia bonfh*es. Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Thompson left later by car for the north, the bride wearing a black tailored costume, wine halo hat and scarf, with shoes and bag to tone. Mr. and Mrs. Thompson will reside in Feiiding.
