EVENING FOR SAILORS
Musical and Other Items \ An enjoyable entertainment was given at the rooms of the British Sailors Society by Mr. Claude Sandor’s pupils, assisted by Mrs. Jeannie Polls and Mr. Norman Sander, to n large audience of seamen and friends. Each item was received with apliiuse. the performers bavin"- to respond will) encores again and again. One item that particularly pleased the audience was the recitation by Miss Kathleen Sander, aged three years. Dancing items were given by ,ases Jean White, Gloria Hassett. Jean O Connor, Kathleen Millard, .Mary Jobson. lean Prangley. Ngreta Chohleroft a™ J*’-' Peterson: vocal items bv Mrs. .1. roits, Misses J. Prangley. and M. O Connor; recitations by Miss K. Sander; instrumental numbers by Mr Norman hander At the conclusion a vote of thnuks was proposed bv the secretary and earned witti acclamation. Supper was served bv the workers and the evening was brought to a close with the singing ot the National Anthem. Mr. C. Sander was the accompanist.
