SUCCESS ASSURED
Left Wing in French Elections PARTY ARRANGEMENT Expected Return of 100 Communists By Telegraph-—Press Assn.—Copyright. Paris, April 29. After an all-night sitting, the Radi-cal-Socialists decided to stand down in favour of t>he Communists and Socialists, who secured a majority on the first ballot. This means that victory is assured for the Left in the second ballot, and there will probably be a record number of 100 Communist deputies.
The Bourse has reacted unfavourably. Bank of France shares are at the lowest level since the war. It is suggested that financial interests are forcing down securities in order to stampede electors.
