WOMEN’S FURS STOLEN
Taken From Display Windows (Received April 30, 10.40 p.m.) Sydney, April 30. A cool theft of £7OO worth of women’s furs was carried out frein the display windows of David Jones Ltd. at the Australia Hotel. The robbery was not noticed by anyone. It is believed that pedestrians may have regarded the thief as a window-dresser employed by David Jones, whose legitimate employees, however, intended to change the display to-day, when the furs were found to be missing.
