O’Sullivan —Redmond Tlie wedding took place recently at St. Joseph’s Church, Wellington, of Katherine Mary Redmond, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Redmond. Oriental Parade, and Cornelius Mortimer O’Sullivan, son of Mr. Eugene and the late Mrs. O’Sullivan, Taranaki. The ceremony was performed by the Rev, Father Fletcher, assisted by the Rev. Father W. Walshe. Tlie bride, who was escorted by her uncle, Mr. V. 11. Waters, wore a graceful gown of mushroom pink georgette, with small golden brown velvet hat with stiffened eye-veil, and carried a sheaf of pink carnations. She was attended by her cousin. Miss Molly Malone, Stratford, wearing a pastel pink georgette frock patterned m field Howers and halo hat of sapphire blue velvet. Mr. James Perry, Eastbourne, was tlie best man.

Miss Whelan, aunt of the bride, wore a fine black lace gown and shoulder spray of pink roses, with a picture hat of black satin. Miss J. Whelan, also an aunt of the bride, was in navy and beige georgette with a navy breton sailor hat. Mrs. V. H. IVaters, wearing a black satin ensemble, with a pink and black floral vestee, and a matching halo hat, and Mrs. T. A. Fraser, in wine georgette witli a pink shoulder spray and winecoloured picture hat, were among other relatives of the bride who were present at a reception* which Miss Whelan held at her home in Oriental Parade after the ceremony. The bridegroom’s sister, Mrs. Lawrence Macdonald, Levin, wore a black tailored suit with fox furs and a black velour shovel hat, and Miss McNamara, aunt of the bridegroom, was in black lace with a small black hat. Miss Diana Waters wore a black and white checked suit and velvet halo hat, and Mis* Betty 'Waters wore a big hat of tuscan straw with her frock of pastel shaded floral marocain. When Mr. and Mrs. C. M. O’Sullivan left for a tour of the north, tlie bride was wearing a beige angora ensemble, with collar anil cuffs of leopard skin and a brown velvet beret tarn. Their future home will be at Manakau.
