ACCOUNTANT STUDENTS

Annual Meeting of Society The thirty-third annual general meeting of the Wellington Accountant Students’ Society was held last evening, Mr. P E. Pattrick presiding. In moving the adoption of the annual report and accounts, Mr. Pattrick con gratulated the society on the successful session, and especially on the high standard of lectures. H<j stressed the need for members to continue their studies after they had passed their examinations as there was ample scope for accountants and the Students’ Society could help them throughout their careers. Votes of thanks were accorded the retiring patron, president, vice-presidents, committee, and officers. The election of officers for the current year resulted ae follows:—-Patron, Mr. O. H. Wynyard.
