At the septnageuary celebrations of Bt. Paul’s Church, Derouport. Auckland, the big Bible on. the pulpit desk was the one used at the first Presbyterian Church service iu Devouport. It is in the possession of the Pitt family, and Mr. C. H. put. a very old resident of Devouport, whose father built the first Presbyterian cbtireli there and who was a worshipper at tbe services on Sunday, was Hie only person in tbe church who had been present as a boy when the first ehurch was opetti'd 70 years ago. Special reference was made to this by the Rev. A. AL Elliffe in welcoming' many old former members.
